Twenty-six faculty members of the University of Colorado School of Medicine have written 18 excellent chapters, showing that at every medical school there are persons with experience and expertise in the various clinical aspects of aging. Most of the chapters reflect the subspecialties (cardiovascular, pulmonary digestive, endocrine, and metabolic disorders). Introductory chapters summarize social and demographic issues, cellular and biological information, psychosocial and psychiatric problems, and neurologic problems and dementia. There are chapters on drug use and nutrition of the aged. There is also a final chapter titled "Little Things" that is a potpourri of some special geriatric problems such
