To the editor: We would like to report the case of a patient with pancreatic carcinoma whose two brothers died from the same disease.
A 54-year-old white man was admitted to our hospital in May 1981 with abdominal pain and jaundice. Adenocarcinoma of the pancreas with metastasis to the liver was found at surgery. A brother of the patient, a 48-year-old man with recent onset of diabetes, was admitted to a California hospital in July 1981 for abdominal pain and jaundice.
