The Borderline Personality in the Medical Setting

    Abstract

    Patients with a borderline personality disorder are notorious for causing problems in medical settings because of their angry, provocative, and often selfdestructive behaviors. Such patients may frequently evoke negative, often angry responses in physicians. The diagnosis and effective management of such patients are discussed.
