To the editor: I read with interest the review of mebendazole (1) because here in the Petén of Guatemala we have been using mebendazole in both our mobile clinic and paramedics' program for 3 years. Fortunately, we can purchase this medication at only 40 cents per treatment of six tablets, from a Guatemalan drug company.
