To the editor: There is, I believe, some erroneous information on Cefadroxil in Table 1 of Bennett and associates' article (1) on drug therapy in renal failure. Rather than 8 hours, the "Normal Dose Interval" should read 12 or 24 hours. The package insert shows that the approved dosing regimen is either once or twice daily.

Also, the package insert contains a table showing the dose adjustment, based on creatinine clearance rates, in patients with renal failure. In effect, that table indicates that the 12-hour dosing interval may still be used even in patients with a creatinine clearance rate as
