To the editor: The article "Streptococcus bovis Septicemia and Carcinoma of the Colon" by Klein and colleagues (1) points to the interesting association between Streptococcus bovis bacteremia and underlying gastrointestinal disease, also reported by Murray and Roberts (2). We wish to report an additional case of Streptococcus bovis bacteremia and endocarditis associated with gastrointestinal malignancy, in this case, carcinoma of the pancreas.
