Building upon their landmark investigations of heterosexual physiologic response and dysfunction, which were published a decade ago, Masters and Johnson have released their long-awaited study of a largely neglected area within the field of human sexuality. The text is divided into two sections: "Preclinical Study, 1957-1970" and "Clinical Study, 1968-1977." The material in these sections parallels the content of the authors' two earlier works and might have been subtitled "homosexual response" and "homosexual inadequacy."
