    Excerpt

To the editor: We read with interest the paper by Dalovisio and co-workers in the April issue, "Subacute Thyroiditis with Increased Serum Alkaline Phosphatase" (Ann Intern Med 88:505-507, 1978). The authors may be interested to learn that Vogt (1) reported a similar case and three of our four patients reported in 1977 (2) also had elevated serum alkaline phosphatase concentrations.
