Recommendations Established by the Venereal Disease Control Advisory Committee
Abstract
Details for specific programs for treatment of early syphilis, syphilis of more than 1 year's duration, syphilis in pregnancy, and congenital syphilis are described, with recommendations for appropriate diagnostic and evaluative tests. The needs of appropriate follow-up and the problems of retreatment are summarized.
