The editors of this journal wish to make it an open forum for a wide range of information, concepts, and opinions. Our view of what content will best serve this aim is necessarily biased by our particular training and experience. Knowing this, we must rely in part on the judgment of others on what should be published in the journal. Some of this opinion comes from readers. Some of it comes from the consultants who critically review those manuscripts that the editors believe may be worthy of publication. Some of it comes from the Editorial Board.
