Abstract
A case is described in which a chest-wall abscess appears to have developed during the course of a silent primary tuberculous infection caused by localization of bacilli in the site of blunt trauma. This demonstration of the occurrence of bacillemia in the course of primary tuberculosis in man adds credibility to the "unitary concept" of the pathogenesis of tuberculosis in man.
