Written (Certifying) Examination in Internal Medicine The next examination will be held on 20 to 21 June 1972. It will be a Certifying Examination; candidates passing it will be awarded a Diplomate Certificate in Internal Medicine. The Board will require substantiation of the clinical skills of candidates who are still in training before they are admitted to examination, by a regulation mechanism currently under development. No oral examination in general internal medicine will be required of those passing the Certifying Examination. The examination will take 2 full days.
