The Arthritis of Viral Hepatitis

    Abstract

    Two cases of arthritis and one of "arthralgia" eventuating in viral hepatitis are presented; all three cases were negative for Australia · serum hepatitis antigen. The arthritis of viral hepatitis in the one case that was examined serially was characterized as a nonmigratory, symmetrical, poly-periarthritis that lasted 6 weeks before evidence of hepatitis appeared.
