To the editor: In recent years the use of factor VIII concentrates in hemophilia A has revolutionized the treatment of bleeding emergencies for these patients. Similar expectations are held for the use of concentrates of the prothrombin complex such as Konȳne® (concentrate of factors II, VII, IX, and X, produced by Cutter Laboratories, Berkeley, Calif.).
