Hypoprothrombinemia and Hemorrhage Associated with Cholestyramine Therapy

    Abstract

    A 57-year-old woman being treated with cholestyramine developed hypoprothrombinemic hemorrhage. Dietary supplements of fat-soluble vitamins should be used routinely in every patient given the drug on a long-term basis.
