Every spring in Atlantic City, during 4 consecutive days known as "The Spring Meetings," physicians engaged in clinical research assemble to discuss their work. The meetings contain the annual national transactions of three organizations: the American Federation for Clinical Research (AFCR) on the first day, the American Society for Clinical Investigation (ASCI) on the second, and the Association of American Physicians (AAP) on the third and fourth.
