This book, intended as a clinical description of the normal and abnormal testis, is directed mainly to urologists, surgeons, and general practitioners. In its fourteen chapters, it considers, among other topics, normal and abnormal differentiation of the gonad, the role of chromosomal abnormalities in testicular malformation and the relationship of adrenal to testicular disease. It shows the author's considerable familiarity with current literature and emphasizes modern knowledge of psychologic factors concerned with "sex determination."
