On Thursday evening, September 23, 1954, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Eastern Daylight Saving Time, the American College of Physicians presented the first coast-to-coast, closed-circuit Postgraduate Medical Symposium on The Management of Hypertension, the project being supported financially by the Wyeth Laboratories of Philadelphia. The panel of distinguished physicians included, in addition to Dr. Cyrus C. Sturgis, President of the College who presided, Professor F. H.
