    In their article on prevention of recurrent ulcer bleeding, Sung and colleagues (1) conclude that theirs is the first international trial supporting the efficacy of high-dose intravenous proton-pump inhibitor (PPI) therapy in white patients with acute peptic ulcer bleeding.
