    Calvin and colleagues (1) report that patients insured by Medicaid (but not Medicare) were less likely to receive evidence-based care for non–ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndromes than were patients insured by health maintenance organizations or other private payers. However, the authors did not distinguish whether patients received Medicaid coverage through a managed care program—an important limitation.
