Editorial Board Members: Hail and Farewell

The editors are constantly grateful to the 18 members of our Editorial Board. They help with difficult decisions on papers viewed quite differently by peer reviewers, with deciding on topics that might merit discussion in editorials, with shaping the journal's policies, and with our developing plans for new ways to improve services to authors and readers. Our Board members serve with no compensation save for the satisfactions they may draw from helping to serve the information needs of thousands of physicians, residents, and medical students in North America and other parts of the world. Six have just completed their 3-year
