To the editor: We read with interest the study by Denicoff and colleagues (1) on the neuropsychiatric effects of treatment with interleukin-2 with or without lymphokine-activated killer cells. The authors observed that most patients had decreased energy, fatigue, anorexia, malaise, and sleep disturbances. In neither this report nor the group's most recent toxicity survey is there any mention of musculoskeletal complications, even though such symptoms were briefly discussed previously (2, 3).
