Certification in Diagnostic Laboratory Immunology

The second examination for certification of special qualification in diagnostic laboratory immunology will be held 7 October 1988 in St. Louis. The examination, which will assess the competence of internists and pediatricians conducting diagnostic immunologic tests, is analogous to the special qualification examination in immunopathology of the American Board of Pathology. It is open to physicians certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Pediatrics, or the American Board of Allergy and Immunology who also have training or (until 1990) significant laboratory experience in diagnostic laboratory immunology.
