    Pancreatic polypeptide is a newly identified secretory product from pancreatic islet cell tumors (1, 2). This peptide has been seen with increasing frequency in different islet cell tumors and is considered a marker for such tumors (3, 4). Recently, a few predominantly pancreatic polypeptide-producing tumors also have been reported (3, 5-7). Most islet cell tumors have a characteristic clinical presentation, but the pancreatic polypeptide-producing tumors identified so far have not been associated with a distinctive clinical presentation.

    We treated a patient with a pancreatic polypeptide-producing tumor associated with distinctive skin rash. The skin rash improved with successful treatment of the
