Correction: Immunology of Infection with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV): A View from the III International Conference on AIDS

In the editorial by Koenig and Rosenberg in the September issue (1), a change made in the editorial office altered the meaning of the first sentence. This sentence should read: "The virulence of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) lies in its unique ability to disarm the system that provides protection against invasive pathogens."
