Hodgkin Disease in Hemophilia

To the editor: Non-Hodgkin lymphomas, predominantly of high-grade B-cells, occur in homosexual men with the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), or as prodromal manifestations associated with AIDS (1). Recently, Hodgkin disease has been reported in homosexual men and drug addicts (2-5) with the AIDS-related complex (ARC). We are aware of no reports of Hodgkin disease in patients with hemophilia, another group at risk for AIDS. We report the case of a patient with hemophilia who developed an aggressive atypical form of Hodgkin disease.
