The first examination for certification of special qualification in diagnostic laboratory immunology will be held 10 October 1986 in St. Louis. The examination was announced in last month's Medical Notices section, and a second notice appears in this issue. The examination, which will assess the competence of internists and pediatricians conducting diagnostic immunologic tests, is analogous to the special qualifications examination in immunopathology of the American Board of Pathology.
