Yellow Fever Vaccine

Recommendations of the Immunization Practices Advisory Committee

Abstract

These revised Immunization Practices Advisory Committee recommendations on yellow fever vaccine update the 1978 recommendations. Changes have been made to clarify the risks of acquiring yellow fever associated with travel to endemic areas; the precautions necessary for immunization of special groups (infants, pregnant women); procedures for immunization of persons with histories of possible egg allergy; and simultaneous administration of other vaccines.
