A very interesting article, but there is a typographical error in this line: "Duke Gibenau, a Frenchman, postulated in the 1850s that the purity of races would be a determining factor in history"

It should be Arthur de Gobineau - Le comte de Gobineau to give him the title he like to use. http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Arthur_de_Gobineau
