LETTER
Asklepios

TO THE EDITOR:
Dr. Bailey presented a very informative essay [1] on Asklepios with reference to his relevance in today's medical climate. Because Dorland's refers to the deified hero of healing as Aesculapius and as Asclepios, with separate entries of Asclepias and Asklepios [2]. I would appreciate Dr. Bailey's opinion regarding the preferred spelling and pronunciation.
