Parallel columns of questions, informative statements, and directions in English and Spanish. Most of the questions can be answered with the Spanish equivalents of "yes" and "no," and the extensive Section I, "Language Necessities" (pronunciation, elements of grammar, numbers, and vocabulary), can help the reader understand other responses. Physicians expecting to use this manual "on the spot" should become familiar with its content and arrangement before using it; most of the sections contain inquiries and statements relevant to major clinical fields, such as cancer, family planning, and diabetes.
