LETTER
AIDS Clinical Trials Group Study Numbers
C. Fordham von Reyn, MD
1 September 1995 | Volume 123 Issue 5 | Page 395
TO THE EDITOR:
The article by Fischl and colleagues [1] was useful. However, as with most other AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) studies you and others have published, it lacked any reference to the ACTG study number. Among AIDS clinicians and in future citations, this study will usually be referred to as the ACTG 155 study, but the unfortunate reader will be unable to find this information in the article itself. The ACTG numbers should be published ACTG studies.
