LITERATURE OF MEDICINE

Reviews and Notes: Cardiology: Marriott's Practical Electrocardiography

15 September 1994 | Volume 121 Issue 6 | Page 472

Marriott's Practical Electrocardiography
space

Ninth edition. Galen S. Wagner. 434 pages. Baltimore: Williams & Wilkins; 1994. $32.00.

The first, much smaller edition was published 20 years ago. This one continues the tradition of clearly written sentences and illustrations that illustrate what they are supposed to. The text is also appropriately cautionary where indicated: "Many cardiac conditions other than myocardial infarction are capable of producing Q waves beyond the normal range." Each chapter is followed by a glossary of terms used in that chapter. It is a practical text and remains reasonably priced.
