Patients with rheumatoid arthritis who have failed to respond to treatment with prednisone and another second-line agent (such as methotrexate, azathioprine, intramuscular gold, penicillamine, cyclosporine, or alkylating agents) are being sought for a therapeutic study involving an innovative immunosuppressive regimen with fludarabine.
