LITERATURE OF MEDICINE

Reviews and Notes: Neurology: Tension-type Headache: Classification, Mechanisms, and Treatment

15 March 1994 | Volume 120 Issue 6 | Page 528

Tension-type Headache: Classification, Mechanisms, and Treatment

Jes Olesen and Jean Schoenen; eds. 315 pages. New York: Raven Press; 1993. $95.00.

These papers are mainly a reflection of the symposium from which they were drawn, and most of them are concerned with experimental studies and clinical trials. The opening chapters do survey the various tension headaches and their clinical characteristics, but this would be a relatively expensive source for information generally well covered for clinicians in comprehensive texts on headache or on general neurology.
