Roughly half the chapters (making up well over half of the text) cover sports-incurred injuries, but the remainder cover considerations relevant to medical practice in sports medi cine, including preparticipation assessments, anti-inflammatory agents, rehabilitation, systemic diseases and disorders, drug abuse, special problems for women, and heat effects.
