In the abstract of the recent article by Stollberger and colleagues [1], an error was made in reporting the proportion of patients with normal venograms who had a history of thromboembolism. The final line in the Results section of the abstract should read as follows: More patients with venous thrombosis than without venous thrombosis had a history of previous thromboembolism (13 of 24 compared with 1 of 18, respectively; P = 0.001).
