Robert C. Charman. 183 pages. Dublin, New Hampshire: William L. Bauhan; 1992. $10.95.
A book aimed at patients, potential patients, and their families. Explains both the virtues of, and difficulties for, today's physician in caring for the ill to their satisfaction. Dr. Charman writes clearly, directly, and concretely and gives his account color and life with numerous anecdotes and illustrative cases. Though his book is not addressed to physicians, many of them might profit from this picture of how they may be seen by their patients.
